![]() Paul Jaeger supposedly did stock work for Sedgley so it makes sense. I has a Lyman 48 peep site on it and the stock design is very similiar to that found on Paul Jaeger rifles with a pit of a chinstrap. They were often low number Springfield Armory 1903A Springfield actions as my rifle is that Sedgely would retreat(heat treating in a furnace) and then barrel with early barrels purchased from Winchester. But the barrel has the Circled S Sedgely mark on the barrel is is stamped Philadelphia, and it had matching serial numbers that I sent to Michael Petrov who had a running database. It has a nonstandard whiteline recoil pad on it. It is an accurate rifle that used to belong to an old Alaskan hunting guide.
